Great place to rest and breath! Nice old school rooms, good healthy food, friendly staff (lady at reception was pretty polite and professional, i think her name was Yasemin). Perfect air early in the morning, go for trekking, friendly dogs will guard you until you come back to your room. Except those friendly dogs barking once in a while super quite place :) when it gets dark you can drink your tea / wine next to camp fire or read your book next to fireplace

Highly recommend this glamping spot just outside of Mengen. Its a little hipster haven between Ankara and the Black Sea. The grounds are well maintained and cute. We rented one of the tiny houses and we’re pleasantly surprised by how comfortable they were and how much room we ended up having. We had both dinner and breakfast at Hindiba, which were very tasty and vegetarian friendly. The staff is super helpful even if they speak limited English. And two bonuses is that Hindiba attracts a hipster crowd from Istanbul that prefers bossa nova music over Turkish Heartland songs, so we weren’t blasted out of the dining room. They also make and sell very cute home made wood vases, and other trincets. There are 4 walking routes in the area (green, blue, green and yellow). They’re nice, fine but not super pretty or exciting. We did the first three within 4 hours and so a bunch of nice pine trees and some deer. Not sure I would go here if you’re looking for a stunning landscapes, but very pleasant if you just want to get away for a weekend. Also you might want to make sure you get a map or an app w a map of the region because the routes are not marked well at all. Because it’s a glamping and you spend most of the day outside Covid seems minimally risky, biggest concern is that food is a buffet and it can get busy in the dinning room altho when we were there not concerningly so.
